[1:25] – Ali shares something that he believes about becoming successful that most people disagree with.
- People assume entrepreneurs or business owners have confidence. In reality, it’s a function of courage. They have the courage to take risks and get back on their feet. Courage is the underlying trait that makes them do what they do.
[2:39] – What’s the purpose of The Business Owner’s Dilemma?
- While business owners have financial independence, a majority of them are struggling. They are struggling with the life side of things
- Wealth is a means, not an end. You can have all the wealth in the world and all the financial freedom in the world, but you are not meant to be free.
[6:39] – 3 dilemmas every business owner will face.
- The first is the reinvestment dilemma
- Second is the legacy dilemma
- Third is the exit dilemma
- The reason why dilemmas are so challenging to address is because they’re both a wealth decision and a life decision. Hitting the intersection of wealth and life makes things a lot more emotional and a lot tougher to handle.
