    [1:15] – Greg shares something that he believes about becoming successful that most people disagree with.

    • We need proper rest. In our culture of hustle and grind, we need to take time to sleep, to rest, to take a day off, and to try to remain healthy.

    [3:25] – Letting go of the desire to be in complete control.

    • It’s not easy, but it is something that we can achieve. The reward is worth it.
    • We have to learn to have a proper perspective of releasing control and just trusting the process, trusting friends, and trusting our support system.

    [5:34] – Staying calm under pressure.

    • Great leaders are composed and calm under pressure.
    • When we remain composed and stay calm, we are often better able to be heard and understood.

    [8:20] – Unlocking the wisdom to identify the battles worth fighting.

    • Not everything out there is for every entrepreneur or every business owner, but when you find the combination of your gift, your experience, expertise, background – and it meets the need, it solves the problem – that’s the sweet spot.

    • Empathy is simply defined as the ability to understand and share the feelings of another person.
    • Take the time to be curious, to be compassionate and empathetic, and to really encourage.
    • When you are connected to others and care for them, they will run through a wall for you. They will bend over backwards for you.

    • If we can get everybody pulling in the same direction and focused on the exact same goal, then we’re going to go further, faster and accomplish more.
