Today’s Audio MASTERCLASS: A 6 Step System to Connect Your Dots Forward and Turn Your NOW into an Even Better NEXT

[1:22] – Sam shares something that she believes about becoming successful that most people disagree with.

Some people think we have to know to go but she thinks it is the opposite. You have to go to know.

[1:45] – Sam breaks down what she called the 2025 AGENCY.

If its not in the calendar, its not getting done.
Think of something that you want to be successful in 2025 but if it is not in the calendar, its not getting done. Figure out what would light you up and give you some ‘IKIGAI’ and something to look forward to and you will use what she calls the AGENCY process to make it happen.

[2:39] – Sam talks about IKIGAI.

IKIGAI is a Japanese term which means purpose or the reason to get up in the morning, what lights you up and give you something to look forward to not just top of the mind but also top of the heart. It gives you energy and anticipation where you can’t wait to what comes next.

[3:21] – Sam talks about a 4-Minute ‘Now to Next Box Quiz’ that she created to quickly determine what we both DO and DON’T want.

It is an exercise to turn your uncertainty to clarity.
Draw a box and divide it in 4 boxes. On the left upper side write “doing” and on the right upper side write “not doing”. Write “want to” beside the left upper box and write “don’t want to beside the left lower box.
Number the upper boxes 1 and 2 starting from the left side and the lower boxes 3-4.
Write the things you want according to the description it says.
The things you write inside boxes 1 and 4 are those that are right with your life that contributes to your IKIGAI and happiness.
The things that you put in boxes 2-3 are those that are wrong with your life and they are often the things that are gut tells are important to us but were putting it off because were too busy and we are thinking to do it someday. Those are regrets that we want to happen.
What we are going to do is look at what we put in the box and figure out our top priority for 2025 then use the AGENCY to turn that priority into reality to act on what really matters instead of putting it off until later.

Box 1 are the non-negotiables that are contributing to your quality of life that you have to keep doing no matter what because as long as you are do, you are helping yourself and drop those that going to be a regret.

A is align with what lights you up and these are responsibilities.

C is communicate your vision and not the variables. There is the saying “Language doesn’t just describe reality, it creates reality. What is the reality that you are creating for yourself with the language you are using.
Y is Yes to the smiles along the way.

She ask herself ‘where is the beating heart where we bring the personal into the professional?’ We are not taking time off work, were taking time on life.
